Established in 2013, Prime Digital Academy’s mission is to humanize technology by bringing diverse and driven problem-solvers to the challenge of creating a better tomorrow. As software revolutionizes our world, the new problems we face as a society demand fresh perspectives. Prime is focused on preparing individuals for meaningful careers in technology through holistic education, a commitment to community and practice-based approach that develops skill through experimentation. Students at Prime are mentored by industry practitioners, taught by seasoned vets and exposed to fresh ideas through weekly guest speakers from the field. Prime has graduated almost 100 cohorts across its programs and approximately 1500 alumni are working at local Minnesota companies ranging from Fortune 500 giants to innovative agencies to explosive startups. The diversity of engaged employers reflects Prime’s commitment to connect the classroom to the myriad of opportunities in the tech community. Overall, 89% of graduates launch successful careers in this high growth, high demand field.
