M Health Fairview is a collaboration between the University of Minnesota, University of MN Physicians, and M Health Fairview. We consist of hundreds of clinics, 9 hospitals, and 34,000 employees. Our mission is to heal, educate, and discover, for healthier, longer lives. Jordan Vandervelde has been a part of M Health Fairview since 2014, when she first started as an Intern. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and Human Rights & Justice at the University of Minnesota that same year, she worked in a variety of roles in Recruitment. Now she is a Workforce Development Specialist and part of the Talent Acquisition team that is responsible for developing, marketing, and implementing organizational programs and pipelines to address M Health Fairview workforce needs. Throughout the year we will post opportunities for externals to apply to Surgical Technologist and Medical Assistant Apprenticeships, Periop 101 Sponsorships, and Dual-Training Opportunities through state and federal grants. We average 1,500 openings at any given moment that range from clinical to non-clinical. Some of our top needs are Nursing Assistants, Health Unit Coordinators, Lab Care Technicians, Medical Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Lab Technologists, Surgical Technologists, Resident Assistants, and Nurses.
