Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) is a human service nonprofit that strengthens our community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for ongoing stability. Interfaith lives out the values of collaboration, inclusion, and integrity. The organization has served people living in the eight Twin Cities west metro communities of Hamel, Long Lake, Medina, Minnetonka Beach, Orono, Plymouth (west of 494) and Wayzata since 1979. The Employment Services team provides a continuum of services to equip individuals for ongoing stability by supporting job seekers to job search effectively, build marketable skills, grow professional networks and obtain jobs that meet financial needs. To meet the unique needs of individual jobseekers, Employment Services offers several pathways including drop-in or “Express” services, and more intensive, structured 1:1 work that focuses on employment coaching, education and training, employment advancement, and/or retention. Additional services include access to professional clothes and a grant program for computer equipment and Internet access needed for job search and training.
